Latest Technology

brush and play dental technology

Utilizing up-to-date technology in dentistry, we provide safe and comfortable dentistry for children

Laser Dentistry

  • We utilize Solea, an innovative dental laser technology capable of delivering gentle and precise dental treatment without the need for needles, drills, or sedation. Furthermore, this advanced tool operates with minimal vibration and noise, allowing our patients to return to school or play right after their appointment.

Improvement in Injection Comfort

  • Using a computer assisted system for local anesthesia injection, patients benefit with less discomfort and will not have collateral numbness.

  • By using a pH buffering system for local anesthetic agents, painful burning sensation during injection can be reduced without compromising anesthetic

Electronic Handpiece

  • We utilize electronic handpiece in addition to the more commonly used air-driven handpiece. Electronic handpieces are quieter and produce less vibratory sensation, which makes our patients feel more comfortable in the chair.

Handpiece cleaning / maintenance.

  • Handpieces (aka “drills”) are a delicate equipment in all dental offices. Brush and Play Pediatric Dentistry utilize a handpiece cleaning machine to ensure dirt and biological residues are fully removed from the handpiece before its next use. The handpieces go through additional sterilization process to ensure the safety of our patients.

Backflow prevention device for safety

  • We have a built-in, one-way valve in our saliva ejector to prevent backflow from the suction line into the patient’s mouth, eliminating cross-contamination.

Digital x-rays with minimal radiation exposure

  • Digital x-rays have the advantage of providing images with minimal radiation exposure, and they reduce waste by eliminating film and processing chemicals.

Sterilization and weekly monitoring

  • With our most up-to-date sterilization device and protocols, we strictly abide by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Dental Association recommendation. Furthermore, we are subscribed to a third-party biological monitoring service to ensure the safety of our patients.

Clean water system

  • Chairside water is supplied using refillable bottles rather than plumbed from the existing city water system. This allows us to continually ensure the quality of the water system.
